You will review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to assess requirements, quantify materials, and develop detailed cost plans.Working closely with the commercial and technical teams, you'll ensure all proposals reflect achievable build methods, realistic timescales, and sound financial margins.
This position offers an opportunity to work on a range of innovative façade and structural concrete projects, from concept through to handover.Key Responsibilities* Analyse drawings, specifications, and project information to determine scope and requirements.* Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontract works.* Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to validate pricing assumptions.* Issue enquiries and review supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.* Identify project risks, constraints, and opportunities within each tender submission.* Support bid preparation, presentations, and value engineering exercises.* Maintain cost databases and update benchmark pricing information.* Participate in project handovers, ensuring clear communication of tender allowances.* Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing tender outcomes and lessons learned.What we're looking for* Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.* Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or façades.* Familiarity with reading technical drawings and understanding construction methodologies.
