The Role
As a Maintenance / Production Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
You'll play a key role in supporting production teams, minimizing downtime, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st line technical support to production operations
Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve equipment and machinery issues
Perform preventive maintenance on production machines
Carry out machine changeovers between product families
Complete First Article Inspections and prepare associated reports
Attend Tier 1 Production Meetings and contribute technical input
Write and maintain shift reports and technical documentation
Interface with engineering, production, and product teams to resolve technical issues
Provide feedback on product performance, improvements, and recurring issues
Support evaluation of new products and processes
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and procedures
Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and company policies
Participate in training sessions as required
Support ad-hoc technical and production projects as needed
About You
You're a hands-on, solutions-focused technician who enjoys troubleshooting and getting to the root cause of technical issues.
You work well in a team environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a technician or manufacturing support role
Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
Proven ability to identify root causes and provide clear evidence-based solutions
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Ability to read and interpret work orders, manuals, and technical documentation
Basic mathematical skills
Comfortable using a PC for data entry, reporting, and documentation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
