With decades of experience, they have built strong client relationships and a reputation for successfully delivering projects in both new and existing facilities.Their multidisciplinary capabilities span civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as architecture, project management and quantity surveying, offering clients a fully integrated project delivery service.Your New RoleOur client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join our team.The position will be based in their offices in Dublin 2 and the successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Commercial Sectors from initial concept through to detailed design and handover.Your responsibilities include:Preparation, evaluation and optimisation of design conceptsDevelop mechanical building services designs/specifications from customer briefsConduct feasibility studies on new designs.Lead and/or participate in design and review meetings.Generate designs in accordance with current codes, guidelines and best practiceDevelop cost estimates and tender documentsDirect other members of the MEA design team in undertaking their roles and responsibilitiesUndertake site inspections and prepare written reports on the same.Generate production information and develop and manage full product design documentation.Resolving client related issues by problem-solving and troubleshooting designs.Represent the company in a professional mannerCarry out your work in an efficient manner.Liaise with all project stakeholders in a professional mannerTo actively promote the Company's high standards of serviceTo always maintain full knowledge of the Company's Health and Safety Statement and Risk assessmentsOther tasks, as may be required to support the delivery of projectsWhat You Need to SucceedLevel 7 / 8 with a minimum of 6 years prior experienceGood knowledge of mechanical building services designSome knowledge of AutoCAD and RevitGood knowledge of Design softwareHave a good knowledge of practical Building Services Engineering Design in the Industrial / Pharmaceutical EnvironmentBe motivated and capable of directing the work of more junior staff.What You Get in ReturnCompetitive salary.Discretionary bonus at year-end.Pension contributions.Education and career development support.Hays Ireland is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Ireland) Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
