Store Manager (Off-Licence) - Limerick
The main purpose of the role:
Ensure the Off-Licence operates efficiently and effectively and provides customers with excellent quality products and services.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of a well-established, independently owned retail store. You'll manage all aspects of the store's performance, from overseeing the team to ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily store operations, including staffing, customer service, and sales performance.
- Lead and inspire the team, setting a positive example in customer service, efficiency, and store standards.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and merchandising to ensure availability and effective display of products.
- Ensure the store is well-presented, clean, and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Take full responsibility for the store's performance
- Train, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve individual and store-wide goals.
- Manage and support the implementation of promotions, in-store events, and customer loyalty initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experienced with stock systems and operational procedures.
- Able to take ownership of the store's operations and performance.
- Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- High personal standards and a keen eye for detail.
