You will join a leading organisation in the construction sector as HR Operations Lead, responsible for managing and improving HR processes across multiple projects. This is a
fixed-term contract
based at the company's head office, offering an opportunity to lead a high-performing HR operations team and contribute to strategic HR initiatives.
Your responsibilities
* Lead and streamline HR processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and governance.
* Manage and mentor the HR Operations team, driving continuous improvement and professional development.
* Oversee HR data management, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and robust reporting.
* Prepare monthly HR reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
* Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, providing guidance to managers and promoting best practice.
* Support HR projects, including Diversity & Inclusion and Continuous Professional Development initiatives.
* Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring error-free processing and compliance.
* Build strong relationships with external vendors and optimise service delivery.
* Influence stakeholders at all levels to adopt key HR recommendations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HR operations, governance, and data management.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
* Excellent stakeholder management and ability to present at senior leadership level.
* Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
* High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
* Strong HRIS experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage complex challenges and deliver under pressure.
