Job Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and service delivery.
* Lead and motivate the team during busy service periods, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency across all menu items.
* E nsure excellent hygiene and HACCP standards are upheld at all times.
* Collaborate with the culinary team on seasonal menu development and special promotions.
* Efficiently manage kitchen stock levels and supplier orders to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
* Support training and development of junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar role.
* Strong culinary skills, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
* Effective leadership abilities, with a calm and hands-on approach to management.
* Knowledge of HACCP principles and kitchen health & safety protocols.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
* Must be eligible to live and work in Ireland, with the right to do so.
