About the Role: As Learning & Development Manager, youll design and deliver training that really makes a difference from welcoming new starters to supporting future leaders.
Working closely with heads of department, youll ensure that every member of the team has the tools, knowledge, and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Whether its hands-on workshops or digital learning, youll tailor your approach to meet the needs of the business and the people in it.
What Youll Be Doing: Creating and delivering training programmes across all departments including onboarding, customer service, compliance, and leadership development Developing engaging workshops and digital training materials, including e-learning modules Checking in on how training is landing using feedback, testing, and on-the-job performance to keep improving Keeping clear records of whos completed what, ensuring everyone stays on track with their learning Spotting high-potential team members and supporting their development with tailored training plans Building leadership training for supervisors and managers to strengthen the future leadership team Making sure compliance, health & safety, and regulatory training is always up to date Working hand-in-hand with HR and department heads to align training with the hotels goals and service standards Staying curious keeping up with new hospitality trends and training tools to bring fresh ideas to the table What Were Looking For: Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Talent Management within hospitality A strong understanding of how adults learn, training design, and e-learning platforms Someone whos as comfortable leading a room as they are behind a screen with great communication and coaching skills The ability to engage and motivate people at all levels, from new hires to senior leaders A good grasp of hospitality standards, guest expectations, and operational practices Organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Confident using Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital training tools Whats in it for you?
