Job Title: Caseworker
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable caseworker to join our team at Turas Nua Clonmel office.
About Us:
Turas Nua is a leading provider of employability services, delivering intensive, targeted, and personalised support to individuals who are unemployed or employed part-time on low earnings.
The IPNES contract is delivered by Turas Nua, in partnership with the Department of Social Protection.
Purpose of Role:
As a caseworker, you will work closely with clients referred by the Department of Social Protection, managing a caseload of clients and coordinating internal support specialists and external organisations to provide a planned support service to each client.
Your primary goal will be to help clients gain sustainable employment through one-to-one advice and support, guiding their progress towards employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage robust case management plans for each client, working towards full-time employment.
* Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify client goals, ambitions, and barriers to employment.
* Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including intensive job search support when they are job-ready.
* Identify and recommend training solutions in consultation with in-house tutors to meet specific learning needs.
* Maintain strong knowledge of the local labour market and achieve daily and monthly contractual key performance indicator targets.
Requirements:
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* Minimum three years' experience in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse individuals both in person and over the phone.
* Experience in delivering presentations in a group setting or public speaking.
Essential Skills:
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Excellent administrative skills, including fast and accurate data entry.
* Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
