Job Title: Pharmacist Support Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a Support Pharmacist. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and Report Health and Safety Issues: The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and reporting any health and safety issues within the pharmacy. This includes monitoring the work environment and reporting any hazards or near misses to the managing pharmacists.
2. Advisory Roles in Relation to Over-the-Counter Medicines: As a Support Pharmacist, you will have a key advisory role in relation to over-the-counter medicines. This includes ensuring staff are aware of counter prescribing procedures and limitations, and providing guidance on the safe use of these medications.
