OverviewEnvirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a talented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, for cutting-edge water and wastewater treatment solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.Your will be creating detailed mechanical designs, conducting analyses and simulations, and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and specifications.You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and software engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into our projects.You will analyse drawings, specifications and other documentation, liaising with stakeholders to construct and formulate estimates and resolve issues and support the sales team on site visits ahead of proposal submission.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will manage external partners to ensure accuracy of execution costings as well as being responsible for producing technical documentation, conducting feasibility studies, and attending project meetings to discuss progress and provide technical insights.Your work will directly impact the efficiency and performance of our water treatment systems, making a difference in communities and ecosystems.QualificationsTechnical qualification in mechanical or chemical engineeringExperience and knowledgeExperience in industrial water treatment industrySignificant experience of developing costed technical engineering proposals to clients within a water industry environment (regulated or industrial)Ion exchange and reverse osmosisExperience with key process equipment, pumps, vessels, tanks etcExperience with MS Office applicationsExcellent communication skillsIndustrial project experience within a teamExperience with AutoCAD/Plant 3DExperience with specification and technical alignment of process equipmentExperience of delivering design risk assessmentsWater treatment technology and process knowledgeProven ability of plant take-offs, preparing procurement schedules and expeditingTechnical knowledge, including but not limited to: hydraulic design, process calculations, PFD, P&ID and mass balanceSkills and attributesExcellent and proactive communication skillsDependable and accountable-commits to doing the best jobStrong analytical and problem solving skills.
