Job Description:
The role of a Financial Manager is to lead the finance team and ensure the smooth operation of financial processes. This includes preparing timely and accurate monthly management accounts, as well as month-end reconciliations.
In addition, the Financial Manager will be responsible for preparing commentary / explanations for variances to budget and prior year, as well as preparing ad-hoc P&L, balance sheet and cash flow financial analysis.
They will also be responsible for KPI reporting and analysis, as well as assisting in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
The Financial Manager will also assist in the production of annual budgets and in-year forecasts.
Liaising with banks and other credit providers on day-to-day queries will also fall under their responsibilities.
Team Management:
The Financial Manager will manage a team of 4 members, including an AP, AR, Financial Accountant, and Assistant Financial Accountant.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual with Finance Manager experience, a minimum of 4 years PQE, and a strong academic record.
A professional with a strategic and commercial mind-set who is instinctively analytical, inquisitive by nature, and has a high attention to detail would be ideal for this position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
