Join us as a BAM Sales Manager
The purpose of the role is to manage and lead a high-performing Business Account Management (BAM) team to drive excellent customer relationships, revenue growth, and retention of the existing Three SME customer base across all SME product lines.
What it involves:
* Work with the SME Retention & In Life Manager to set, manage, and exceed individual and team targets for the business.
* Manage the Account Management team in line with company objectives.
* Plan, organize, and implement relevant sales strategies to achieve business goals versus a dynamic set of targets.
* Support the development and execution of the overall SME strategy.
* Collaborate with our 3CS/IOT department to drive business growth and exceed yearly budget numbers.
* Lead by example to develop a best-in-class partnership approach with our customer base and act as a point of contact for any complaints.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with larger customers, engaging directly with C-level executives to understand their business goals and drive tailored solutions.
* Ensure sales commission models are compliant and aligned with the business strategy.
* Increase and maintain overall productivity of the Business Account Management sales teams through salesforce reporting & insights.
* Create a data-centric approach to managing the customer base, focusing on re-signing and growing customers efficiently and timely.
* Recruit, lead, challenge, and develop a team of Business Account Managers to maintain a high-performance culture.
* Manage daily operations of the team, including customer escalations, absenteeism, underperformance, hybrid working policies, and holidays.
* Develop processes to support the team, including the use of new technologies.
* Drive customer satisfaction and work with Business Care colleagues to enhance the customer experience.
* Embed a high-performance coaching culture within the team.
* Collaborate with L&D for benchmarking and training.
* Gather market and competitor intelligence and suggest product or messaging changes where appropriate.
* Develop action plans to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
* Conduct regular sales meetings and one-on-one sessions with team members.
* Report on team progress against targets regularly.
The skills we are looking for:
* At least 5 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years in sales management.
* Experience working with large medium/enterprise customers.
* Previous people management experience, including setting objectives, coaching, and performance management.
* Proven achievement of results and overcoming obstacles.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
* Sales planning skills.
* Ability to build relationships at C-suite level internally and externally.
