The role involves managing powerplants for our clients, including engine phase in and phase out, monitoring engine condition, records review and conducting maintenance forecasts. As a Powerplant Engineer, you'll provide support to our Clients, reporting to the Operations ManagerResponsibilities Providing technical support with engine deliveries, redeliveries, Base Maintenance and Line Maintenance to CAE's Clients.Liaising with CFM, IAE, Pratt& Whitney, Boeing, Airbus, Honeywell and otherOEM's on resolution of technical issues • Engine Health Monitoring, performance & overview in coordination with OEMsReview and implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other technical documentationIdentification and Implementation ofsolutionsto reliability issuesin conjunction with the client's Reliability Department and OEMsComprehensive analyses to forecast engine lifecycle and determine asset value • Detailed Records Review, Status report development and management of OIL processCoordinate and monitor Engines & APUs maintenance visits with the MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) and with the asset Owners – Lessors, for any technical and economical (invoice reviews, claims, etc.) issuesContribute to the client's Reliability review for technical issues related to powerplant and relevant componentsLiaison, reporting and follow up with clients on the services provided by CAE • Managing and executing various other projects as assigned.Qualifications Relevant Engineering Degree or EASA Part 66 maintenance licenseSkills & Experience 2 - 3 years' experience in an airworthiness/CAMO or fleet management role in an airline or MRO environmentUnderstanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulationFlexible approach to workExcellent communication skills with experience writing or reviewing technical instructionsComputer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPointProven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environmentPersonal Characteristics Self-motivated and efficient either individually or as part of a teamWilling to travel when requiredFlexible approach to work • Excellent communication skills with experience writing or reviewing technical instructionsComputer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPointProven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment-3 years of related experience.#LI-DS1#LI-HybridPosition Type RegularCAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
