Production
Job Purpose
Manage the production activities of the evaporation department to ensure that all targets are met in a safe manner. Personally accountable for achievement of all targets in the product evaporation department and keep the Production/Operations Manager informed of any critical business issues as appropriate

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Liasing with contractors/vendors regarding equipment and processes
Preventing accidents and controlling hazards and hazardous material
Keeping records and preparing reports
Planning and scheduling work
Training personnel
Inspecting, caring for and preserving equipment
Promoting teamwork
Maintaining liaison with other units, departments and divisions
Attending meetings
Ensuring all paperwork is in use, correctly filled in and signed off
Having department audit ready 24/7
Organize and plan the workload to ensure maximum production with minimum effort and confusion
Delegate the authority for completing tasks, keeping in mind that the final product is the responsibility of the supervisor
Control the workload and oversee that all work is completed correctly
Meets Business/Customers requirements, understands key goals and objectives, delivers desired results, uses initiative, good team player, supports others, learns from experience
Run Evaporator to the Production Plan
Maintain working hours
Communicate with team about work requirements
Maintaining stock as per recipes
Reporting issues to management team
Working various shift patterns
Work on any projects as required
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
3 years in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment is essential
A food based diploma is desirable but not essential
Technical operator experience essential
Experience in understanding and using computerised controls preferred
Understanding of pumps and control valves preferred
Experience with chemicals and hot liquid handling preferred
Experience in CIP of food production equipment preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential
Strong negotiation skills are essential
Ability to multi-task is essential
Clear demonstration of an ability to provide guidance and motivation to others is required
Working hours must be flexible
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate's eligibility to work in Ireland.
