* Accountability is key as you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer care and operational standards to maximise sales and profitability while maintaining costs.
* You will inspire performance through coaching to deliver outstanding results and customer service.
* Deliver company operations and customer service principles.
* Lead the team to deliver the agreed business strategy.
* Ensure all relevant trading policies are in place and adhered to.
* Maximise sales by analysing data, department trading patterns and pre-empting customer needs and demands.
* Maintain stock accuracy and ensure the department has the right choice and levels of product to drive sales.
* Role model excellent customer service ensuring the "customer service programme" is delivered.
* Monitor and address any variations to the cost base on a week-to-week basis.
* Continuously seek innovative ideas within and outside the organisation.
* Implement department brand standards through regular monitoring within the operating framework.
* Ensure compliance with layouts and adjacencies.
* Train your team in line with the brand training programme.
* Coching your team to be passionate and knowledgeable about sales, product availability, stock control, merchandising, display standards, variation prevention, pricing, inventory, hygiene, and most importantly customer service.
