About the Role
As a dedicated EHS Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe execution of construction projects. With a strong focus on building a culture of safety, you will collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to guarantee that every task is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures across all phases of construction.
* Advise and support site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors on EHS matters.
* Monitor adherence to Irish health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Develop and review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements), Safe Plans of Action, and permit-to-work systems.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits, report findings, and ensure timely close-out of actions.
* Lead investigations, ensure accurate reporting, and share lessons learned across the team.
* Promote a safety-first culture by driving proactive safety interventions and continuous improvement.
* Maintain EHS registers, reports, and documentation for internal use and client handover.
About You
* A third-level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related field.
* At least 3 years experience in a construction EHS role, ideally on large-scale or complex projects.
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety regulations and best practices.
* A full, clean driving license.
* Excellent communication skills, confident in engaging with site crews, subcontractors, and senior management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
