OverviewCamphill Communities of Ireland are seeking a Day Services Team Lead for a full‑time post located in The Bridge, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare. The role is an exciting opportunity for a leader who wants to support people with disabilities to live meaningful lives within their community.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day service programmes, revising quarterly timetables and communicating goals to attendees and staff.Build and maintain effective partnerships with families, friends, community groups and external providers such as ETB, Area Sports Partnerships, SICAP, Teagasc, Arts Council, Rural Transport/TFI and others.Ensure compliance with legislative and policy frameworks, including New Directions, Safeguarding, National Policy & Procedure, Assisted Decision‑Making Act, and more.Monitor health and wellbeing of each day attendee, reporting changes internally and externally.Provide a voice for day attendees through self‑advocacy and support groups, and support participation in wider community activities.Maintain health and safety, infection prevention and control, documenting incidents and coordinating with the National Health, Safety & Risk Coordinator.Coordinate weekly communication with the Person in Charge/National Day Services Lead to document operations, programmes and incidents.Facilitate at least two programmes weekly and key worker support to at least three day attendees.Attend to daily administrative tasks and oversee staff activities, addressing HR issues with the Person in Charge/National Day Services Lead.Raise facility and maintenance concerns to the Person in Charge/National Day Services Lead. Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient functioning.Qualifications, Knowledge & ExperienceLevel 7 qualification on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent in Health or Social Care.Minimum 3 years’ experience in programme facilitation of services in a day service or residential setting.Good working knowledge of the New Directions frameworks and person‑centred planning process.Experience with regulated services for people with disabilities and ability to apply best practice.Capacity to deliver effectively within a person‑centred provision model.Ability to create, develop and implement individual and day services plans and to facilitate changing needs and improve service delivery.BenefitsCompetitive salary (Salary Scale: €40,061 to €49,973 per annum based on a 40‑hour week)Sunday and Bank Holiday premiums, pay scales, career progression opportunities, work/life balance.Paid annual leave, referral fee scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Death in Service Benefit, mandatory training and paid travel expenses.Details of the RoleLocation: The Bridge, Camphill Community, Kilcullen, Co.
