About The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer based at one of our pharma clients in Dublin 15
Position: Full Time - 36/48hrs rotating per week
Hours: 12 Hours shifts including days, nights and weekends
Rate of Pay: €15.41 Per Hour
€16.80 Per shift Night allowance,
€3.44 Per Hour Sunday allowance
We require Officers to be PSA licenced.
The Security Officer role is required to provide an efficient, effective and professional security service.
Key Duties
* Act as an ambassador for the company
* Follow on site security requirements including access control and CCTV
* Report any security events in the onsite log
* Access control
* Visitors first point of contact
* Deal with emergency situations, supporting emergency services as required
* Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format
* Liaise with Bidvest Noonan Management regarding any security issues or problems
* Customer Care experience
* Oversee building open up/lock up procedure and patrols
* Car park and traffic management
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures
* Ability to work with confidential and classified information
* 5-year verifiable history
* Valid Visa to work in Ireland on a full-time basis
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
* Customer/Client focused
* Must be able to work under pressure, be able make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations
* Basic computer literacy required
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to respond to issues in an effective, efficient and calm manner

Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Bidvest Noonan Management and the National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
* Act as an ambassador for Bidvest Noonan conducting your activities in a professional and courteous way.
* Ensure that access control procedures are adhered to and escalate any issues in relation to the same.
* Perform Front of house duties in an office/pharma setting.
* Patrolling of building in line with onsite SOP's
* Report any security events in the onsite log
* Deal with emergency situations as per Assignment Instruction
* Support emergency services as required
* Complete End of Shift report detailing activities conducted throughout the day
