We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team. The successful candidate will have significant experience in the Casualty Insurance industry, specifically with captive risks or large SIR accounts.
About the Role
* We are looking for someone who can communicate risk appetite and value proposition to brokers effectively.
* Candidates must be able to collaborate with Distribution and other lines of business underwriters to target desirable accounts and cross-sell opportunities from brokers.
* The successful candidate will also need to rapidly evaluate, prioritize, and select submissions to be underwritten.
In this role, you will work closely with Distribution and other lines of business underwriters to develop strong relationships with brokers and clients. You will also participate in special projects as needed.
You should possess excellent verbal communication skills, proven ability to build long-term relationships,
demonstrated sales/marketing/relationship building expertise,sound analytical reasoning skills
