Graduate Process EngineerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedGraduate Process Engineerto join our manufacturing operations team.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of manufacturing processes to improve yield, efficiency, and product qualityAssist in identifying and implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiativesProvide day-to-day technical support to production teams, helping to troubleshoot process issues and deviationsParticipate in root cause analysis activities and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actionsAssist with the scale-up and introduction of new products, formulations, or process changesHelp develop, review, and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and operating proceduresWork collaboratively with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standardsCollect and analyse process data using basic engineering and statistical tools to support continuous improvement initiativesSupport commissioning, trials, and validation of new equipment, processes, and technologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineRecent graduate or up to 1–2 years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or process environment (including internships or placements)Knowledge & SkillsFundamental understanding of manufacturing and industrial processes (e.g. extrusion, compounding, injection moulding, or similar)Basic knowledge of process control concepts and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma awareness desirable)Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO or similar) is an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to learn, take initiative, and work effectively as part of a teamDesirable (but not essential)Experience using data analysis, process simulation, or statistical softwareExposure to project work in a manufacturing or engineering environment (academic or industrial)What We OfferCompetitive graduate salary and benefits packageStructured training, mentoring, and professional development opportunitiesClear career progression within process and manufacturing engineeringExposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and real-world engineering challenges
