Location: LITTLE BRAY COMMUNITY CENTRE, Old Connaught View, Bray, Co. Wicklow, A98 TY45
Duties
After School Worker on a Community Employment (CE) scheme provides care, homework help and activities for children post‑school, gaining valuable experience and qualifications for a career in childcare.
Responsibilities include:
Provide care for children after school.
Assist with homework and learning activities.
Plan and lead recreational activities.
Support children’s transitions to full‑time work.
Hours: Approximately 19.5 hrs/week (part‑time).
Training: Accredited training will be provided.
Qualifications
Eligibility: Applicants must be 21 years or older and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for at least one year, or 18 years or older for certain disadvantaged groups. Eligibility will be verified by the Department.
Other: Applicants should supply suitable character references and complete a Garda vetting application form if required.
