**Job Title:** Apprenticeship Programme Coordinator
The Access to Apprenticeship programme provides a pathway for young individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds to transition into recognized apprenticeships. This unique opportunity combines educational experience with transferable skills development, short work placements, and the creation of a digital portfolio.
Upon completion of the programme, students are awarded a Level 6 Continuous Professional Development (minor award). The appointee will report directly to the Head Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships within the School of Mechanical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate teaching and learning activities efficiently, as well as student learning support, for the Access to Apprenticeship programme in TU Dublin.
* Participate in academic delivery and coordination of the programme, ensuring best practices are achieved in all aspects.
* Engage with the academic and research community to advance apprenticeship provision and meet demand.
* Maintain established relationships across the community sector, including youth organizations, community training centers, and schools.
* Support the programmes wider engagement with industry.
Hours of Work: This is a wholetime post with regular attendance at other sites required.
Salary Scale: €51,153 - €63,104. Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the scale.
