Qualified Electricians Waterford
Role / Requirements:
Weltec Engineering is seeking a Qualified Electrician to join our growing team in Waterford.
As an electrician with Weltec, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a commercial setting.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components in commercial properties.
Diagnose electrical issues, perform repairs, and ensure systems are functioning correctly and safely.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, and company policies.
Conduct testing and inspection of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure ongoing safety and efficiency.
Complete and maintain accurate records of work performed, including job reports, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Work closely with other trades and engineers on site to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve work quality.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and good working condition
Key Skills and Competencies:
Hold a SOLAS/FAS electrical qualification, with a proven track record of 6+ yrs time served.
Prior experience in the industrial and commercial sectors is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Training Certifications Required:
Safe Pass
