Job Title: Linen Porter Reporting to: Accommodation Manager and Assistant Manager Job Description: As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for efficient handling, distribution, and storage of linen throughout the hotel while ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities Collect, sort, and distribute clean linen to various departments including guest rooms, spa, and food & beverage outlets.
Remove used linen and transport it to the laundry area.
Maintain stock levels of linen and report shortages or damages.
Ensure linen storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation.
Support the housekeeping team with additional duties as required.
Respond promptly to linen requests from other departments.
Skills/Requirements Previous experience in a similar role or hospitality environment is desirable.
Full, clean drivers license required.
Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
