Join to apply for the Nurse - Navan, Co. Meath role at The Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Whistlemount Day Centre, Navan, is recruiting for a Day Centre Nurse, working 15 hours per week. This is a permanent contract of employment with no weekend or shift work. Based at Whistlemount Day Centre, 6 liscarton Villas, Kells Road, Navan.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in local communities, providing dementia-specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their carers. The organisation is a national non-profit, person-centred, rights-based and grassroots-led, with the voice of the person with dementia and their carer at its core.
You will need good communication, organisation and management skills and to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You must be registered with An Bord Altranais as RN or RMN. Proof of registration will be required prior to commencement.
This role promotes a model of care which is person-centred, community-focused and aware of the needs of the carer. The purpose of this position is to ensure that as many clients as possible are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment to the highest possible standard, tailored to their individual needs.
To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. Registration with NMBI is essential.

Qualifications
