Key Responsibilities
11. Support the preparation and analysis of project budgets and cost plans.
12. Assist in tender submissions, procurement activities, and subcontractor negotiations.
13. Monitor and manage project variations, progress valuations, and financial reports.
14. Maintain accurate records and support the preparation of final accounts.
15. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure commercial success.
16. Assist in identifying project risks and opportunities and contribute to commercial strategy.
17. Ensure contract and cost compliance in line with industry best practice.
Key requirements
18. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction/commercial discipline.
19. 2–3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a main contracting or specialist subcontracting environment.
20. Familiarity with standard construction contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC).
21. Strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking.
22. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT tools.
23. Confident communicator, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
24. A self-starter with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
25. Experience in specialist or bespoke construction elements is a bonus but not essential.
