Job Overview
In PGIM Fixed Income, our technology group is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exciting changes on the horizon under new leadership. We seek a well-rounded individual to join the Application Service Delivery team to manage the production environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our global technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the production environment for systems used by Front Office, Operations, and Client teams.
* Oversee the PGIM Fixed Income technology batch environment.
* Ensure the operation, monitoring, and integrity of the technology platform, including complex nightly data imports from multiple external vendors.
* Be available on a rotation basis for on-call failure escalations, including evenings and weekends.
* Participate in incident and problem management processes, including resolution, root cause analysis, and reporting.
* Maintain the reliability and resiliency of the production environment following established management processes.
* Manage relationships internally with business and technology stakeholders.
* Coordinate with the broader technology organization and external vendors to resolve issues and implement strategic enhancements.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a technology role, preferably in software development or application support.
* A passion for continuous learning and improvement.
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
* Excellent research, analytical, troubleshooting, and investigation skills.
* Ownership mindset with a focus on quick incident resolution.
* Experience with SQL (MS SQL preferred).
* Familiarity with Linux commands and environment.
* Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys.
* Strong documentation skills for processes and incident steps.

* Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
* Development skills for code changes, automation, or bug fixes.
