Offer description

Victim Support at Court (V‑SAC) is seeking a part‑time Finance and Administration Officer to manage financial processes and provide high‑quality administrative support across the organisation. This permanent role is based in our Smithfield office and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management


• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts


• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in line with V‑SAC policies


• Prepare monthly reconciliations and balance sheet schedules


• Support compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements

Administration & Office Support


• Manage enquiries by phone, email, and in person


• Oversee incoming/outgoing post and office supplies


• Support HR functions including payroll and volunteer recruitment admin


• Minute‑taking for Board, Management, Staff, and Volunteer meetings


• Coordinate internal and external meetings, including documentation and logistics


• Maintain office equipment and liaise with IT support

Governance & Compliance


• Safeguard confidential information and ensure data integrity


• Adhere to V‑SAC's financial and administrative policies


• Assist with internal and external audit preparation

Support to Management


• Act as first point of contact for the CEO


• Provide diary management and administrative support to the CEO and wider team


• Contribute to the development and implementation of V‑SAC policies and objectives

Essential Qualifications & Experience


• Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy office environment


• Bookkeeping and financial administration experience


• Strong organisational and administrative skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office


• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure


• Strong attention to detail and self‑motivation

Desirable Attributes


• Experience in the non‑profit or community sector


• Familiarity with governance or audit processes


• Confidence providing basic IT support or training


• A proactive, flexible approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
