Job Purpose
The Sales Executive applies extensive product, technical, and application expertise to promote products including metal suspended ceilings, rafts, baffles, wall cladding, and other related finishes.
The focus of this role is to secure specifications for forthcoming projects by working closely with the architectural and design community, as well as identifying and securing orders by challenging competitor specifications.
This position operates as part of the Dublin office, supported by local design, technical, and commercial resources, and backed by an international HQ offering globally recognised design and technical support functions.
Main Responsibilities
* Drive both short- and long-term growth in sales volume, gross profit, and market recognition in line with agreed budgets.
* Proactively develop relationships with architects, interior designers, specification writers, owners, investors, general contractors, and specialist installation contractors to increase preference and demand for products and systems. Actively network within the industry.
* Develop and maintain a high level of relevant technical and industry knowledge.
* Actively track projects from early design stages through to product order and installation.
* Work closely with designers to provide solutions that satisfy aesthetic, technical, and commercial project requirements.
* Maintain and regularly update a detailed sales portfolio within the company CRM system.
* Record and provide accurate, detailed market, competition, and related intelligence to the company.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education & Experience
* Relevant education or extensive equivalent experience in sales, construction, or manufacturing.
Knowledge & Skills
* Proven record of commercial success and strong business acumen, ideally within construction/manufacturing, working with architects and contractors.
* Dynamic, results-oriented, and capable of demonstrating a clear, concise, and innovative thought process.
* Appreciation of solution-led design.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* High degree of professionalism.
