Overview
An established market‑leading company within the Irish construction supply industry is seeking a Customer Service Executive to join their team. This organisation distributes a wide range of high‑quality building products and prides itself on exceptional customer service, strong technical knowledge, and long‑standing partnerships with international manufacturers.
Responsibilities
1. Processing incoming purchase orders, quotation requests, and customer queries via phone and email.
2. Processing sales invoices.
3. Liaising with transport carriers to confirm delivery dates and updating customers accordingly.
4. Assisting customers at the trade counter.
5. Maintaining accurate records of quotations and orders.
6. Providing support to external sales staff as needed.
7. Handling incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
8. Completing scanning and filing duties related to sales orders.
Ideal Candidate
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
11. 5+ years' experience in a customer service support role (ideal).
12. 1+ year of experience with SAP Business One (ideal).
13. Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
14. Self‑motivated, confident, and capable of working on their own initiative.
15. A strong team player.
