Role Overview
National Beauty Distribution is one of Ireland’s leading brand management and distribution companies in the hair and beauty industry. We are the sole distributor for many high-profile global brands in Ireland. Our business is split over five verticals – Professional Haircare, Professional Aesthetics, Retail, Prestige, and DTC.
This role is within our Retail division. You will be responsible for brands such as Bare by Vogue, LUNA Professional Haircare, Sundae Body, LUNA by Lisa Jordan and more. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the commercial performance of these brands across flagship accounts, including Brown Thomas, Dunnes Stores, McCauleys, McCabes, and many others.
As Commercial Coordinator within our Retail division, you will provide essential support to the Sales Team, Key Account Managers, and General Manager. You will play a key role in managing commercial requests for assigned accounts, developing strong customer relationships, and ensuring deadlines and targets are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Management
* Act as a key point of contact for assigned key accounts, liaising regularly with buyers and head office teams to maintain strong relationships.
* Ensure agreed pricing, listings, and commercial terms are consistently applied across accounts.
* Support Key Account Managers in driving account growth and delivering on agreed objectives.
Commercial Planning & Coordination
* Lead the coordination of commercial initiatives including NPD launches, promotions, and price reviews, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are executed efficiently.
* Collaborate with Sales Managers to align on commercial strategy and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
* Support the development of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and associated KPIs.
Reporting & Analysis
* Produce, maintain, and circulate regular commercial and sales performance reports to senior management and the wider team.
* Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, cost efficiencies, and risk mitigation.
* Monitor and maintain cost cards, pricing structures, and promotional ROI metrics.
Forecasting & Operations
* Support the Senior Management on monthly forecasting for key customers, ensuring accurate order planning and stock management.
* Oversee order processing to ensure deliveries meet agreed service levels and timelines.
* Work closely with the Operations and Finance teams to support commercial decision-making and budget management.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
* Investigate and resolve customer issues or escalations, developing solutions and recommendations for management.
* Identify opportunities to improve commercial processes, reporting, and workflows.
* Proactively support initiatives to drive operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Project Ownership
* Take ownership of ad hoc commercial projects, ensuring milestones are achieved and deliverables meet quality standards.
* Work closely with senior management to implement new systems, initiatives, and processes that support business growth.
