Additionally, in 2024 we were awarded the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, which recognizes the most engaged workplace cultures in the world.***Responsibilities:*** Lead and support a team, providing guidance, training, and support.* Schedule and assign tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to maintenance schedules.* Perform hands-on maintenance and repair work on key equipment and systems.* Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to proactively address potential issues.* Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability.* Maintain accurate records, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts.* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary parts and supplies.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.* Develop and implement procedures, standards, and best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.* Monitor equipment performance and recommend modifications or upgrades to enhance productivity and quality.**Requirements:*** A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a light assembly and fabrication environment, with exposure to advanced systems.* Technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.* Experience leading a team and coordinating maintenance and automation activities.* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.* Intermediate computer skills, including the use of email and software interfaces.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.* Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.## ****We Celebrate Who We Are!****Allegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
