In keeping with our Planet Passionate sustainability strategy, our mission is to accelerate a net zero emissions future built environment with the wellbeing of people and planet at its heart.About The RoleThe Project Manager will oversee and manage the complete project lifecycles within Tate. The Project Manager will ensure timely and quality project completion of Tate product installations across Data Centres within Europe. This role's focus is to manage clients on-site from a technical perspective. This involves travelling on-site, meeting with installers of Tate products, doing safety workshops and site inspections followed up by site reports. On the other hand, another main focus of the role is managing deliveries, and coordinating with supply partners and customers on site. These two aspects involve problem solving and uncovering creative solutions, managing internal processes and providing technical support, all while maintaining high customer satisfaction and supporting Tate's commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Project Manager, you will be pivotal in driving the success of our division. You will actively liaise with our key supply partners and develop robust internal relationships and strategies to ensure the seamless completion of complex and multifaceted projects. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and expertise in end-to-end project management. Your critical thinking and natural analytical abilities will allow you to predict challenges, mitigate project and business risks, and minimize any obstacles to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project delivery schedules, and follow-up and coordinate with all stakeholders in order to ensure delivery dates are met, while keeping some flexibility to account for the customer's needs. Monitor progress of installation of Tate products while identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise during the project lifecycleClient Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (on aite PM's) to ensure their needs are met and exceed their expectations.Providing Training and Support: Deliver installation training on and provide on-site and technical support to installing partners around Europe.Provide technical expertise: This role is key to any project where Tate products are installed, because it provides expertise about the products to all other stakeholders. Great understanding of the products and their features are necessary in order to be able to address any technical issues on-siteManaging Internal Processes: Liaise with all other departments that are involved in these projects with key focus on the Customer service, warehouse and logistics departments to ensure timely deliveries and sales and marketing when it comes to opportunities or support for upcoming projects.Product Supply Chain and Forecasting: Oversee the supply chain and accurately forecast product needs to prevent shortages and delays, by continuously updating delivery dates and keeping account of production and stock.Coordinate the issuing of Technical Drawings and Documentation: As a project manager you will have to coordinate with the client and the internal design team to create and distribute technical drawings and documentation in accordance with company procedures.Technical Project Execution: Provide detailed technical specifications and guidance to ensure flawless project execution.Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency, quality, and overall business performance.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsEducation:Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Design, Engineering, Construction Studies, or a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in technical and managerial aspects.Experience:Proven track record in a complex, customer-centric role requiring exceptional agility, decisiveness, and commercial acumen. Demonstrated ability to manage intricate projects and deliver outstanding results. On-site experience is very important for this role.Skills:Exceptional Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.Advanced Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a natural aptitude for critical thinking, allowing for the anticipation of challenges and the development of innovative solutions.Adaptability: Being able to adapt to client's needs, project specific situations, and unforeseen circumstances or new types of requests.International Travel: Willingness and ability to travel internationally (15-25%) to oversee projects, engage with global partners, and ensure successful project execution across different locations.Stay connected with us onLinkedInfor insights into life at Tate.Tate is an equal-opportunity employer.
