We are also committed to training and developing our team members and ensuring their journey with us inspires them each day.Duties and Responsibilities of the RoleAssist in the set-up, operation, and breakdown of conference rooms, meeting spaces, and banqueting suites according to function requirementsProvide outstanding food and beverage service during conferences, weddings, banquets, and special eventsMaintain the highest level of cleanliness and presentation in all event spacesEnsure correct use and care of hotel equipment, furniture, and AV facilitiesAnticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle any issues with professionalismUphold hotel service standards, policies, and health & safety procedures at all timesSupport the C&B management team with stock control, linen, and equipment requirementsWork collaboratively with the C&B team and other hotel departments to ensure the smooth operation of eventsRequirements for the role:Previous experience in banqueting, events, or F&B service within a 4-star/luxury environment (desirable but not essential)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, guest-facing environmentExcellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality serviceFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidaysA team player with a proactive and positive attitudeBenefits: Free meal on duty/uniform/family & friends discounts/free car parking facilities
