Opportunity: EY has an ambitious growth plan. The Strategic Talent Partner works in collaboration with business leaders and their management teams to develop an extraordinary place for individuals to create their future and build an engagement culture. The incumbent is expected to play a major role working with Service Lines to support business growth, the achievement of the talent strategy, employee engagement and the retention of top talent.


Key Responsibilities

* Drive the implementation of core annual talent processes in relation to leadership development, performance management, retention, pay review and engagement ensuring data accuracy and timelines are kept.
* Work with the business to create, tailor and support delivery of the talent agenda for designated EY Service Lines.
* Proactively drive change initiatives searching for opportunities to structure, optimize and unify the approach where possible and justified.
* Use data to create insights in order to generate ideas and solutions.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the business leaders providing guidance and coaching on key people aspects including employee relations matters and performance management challenges.
* Work collaboratively with other colleagues in the Talent Team to shape and deliver an exceptional employee experience through the full employee lifecycle.
* Provide insights on current people issues and have a challenging robust point of view on business decisions and their impact on people.

Skills And Attributes For Success

* Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced and demanding environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A strong sense of ownership for full projects delivery cycle from strategic focus through to operational excellence.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, coach, facilitate and influence senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrable business acumen.
* Extensive knowledge of Employee Relations, Talent Management, Performance Management, Reward, Resource Management, and Diversity & Inclusion.
* Practical experience of implementing successful change initiatives.
* Well‑developed problem‑solving skills, preferably honed within a multi‑location, matrix organisation.
* Growth mindset and readiness to try new ways of working in order to achieve better results, improve quality of service and bring added value to the business.


Qualifications

* At least 5 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner working with senior management teams, having brought about considerable behavioural change that has resulted in improved business performance, ideally in Professional Services.
* Successful achievement of professional qualifications and/or education to third level degree where these can be shown to have played a significant role in career success to date.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office skills.
