Our client is a fast-growing advisory firm in Dublin with a global presence, known for its innovation and strong reputation in the financial and technology sectors. As part of their expanding consulting division, they are hiring a Crypto Risk Consultant to work across regulatory, governance, and risk transformation projects within the evolving digital assets landscape.

Who should apply?
The ideal candidate will have experience in risk, audit, or compliance and a strong interest in the crypto/fintech sector:
* 2–5 years' experience in risk, audit or compliance in crypto, fintech, or financial services
* Strong understanding of MiCAR, DORA, and emerging digital asset risk frameworks
* Knowledge of crypto custody, trading, or blockchain platforms (a plus)
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Professional certifications (e.g. ACA, CIA, CISA, blockchain certifications) are advantageous
Role and Reporting Lines
The successful candidate will join a cross-functional team and report to a senior member of the advisory practice. Responsibilities include:
* Internal Audit Support
– Contribute to audit and assurance reviews across crypto clients
* Regulatory Readiness
– Assist clients with MiCAR gap analysis and readiness assessments
* Risk Frameworks
– Evaluate governance, operational resilience, and risk practices
* Control Environments
– Assess and improve internal control and compliance frameworks
* Advisory Reports
– Prepare insights and risk assessments for board-level presentations
* Regulatory Insight
– Stay updated on EU crypto and digital asset regulation developments
* Cross-Functional Collaboration
– Work with legal, compliance, and technology teams
* Market Engagement
– Participate in digital asset thought leadership and insights
