I'm working with a large software consultancy business based in Dublin that is looking for a Lead QA Engineer (automation) for a 6-month contract with a possible extension.
This role offers an opportunity to work with a well-known organisation as well as a competitive daily rate of €500 per day and hybrid working (1 day on-site per week).
Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor a team of testers, encouraging success and efficiency.
* Create test cases to identify areas that require improvement in line with the test plan for both automated and manual testing.
* Work with other technical teams to complete project-specific testing in line with agreed deadlines.
* Use debugging tools to identify and isolate potential bugs.
* Develop a testing strategy that will cover all stages of the developmental lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Experience working in an agile environment, analysing complex solutions and creating the appropriate test strategies.
* Proven manual and automated testing experience.
* Experience in testing applications across desktop and mobile devices.
* Experience working with a variety of software languages, including Python.
* Proven ability to lead a team.
