Senior Risk Management Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Risk Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Program Risk Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent work products by EY teams, building valued relationships with external clients, and acting as a subject matter resource, leveraging your knowledge and experience to shape services for clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading presentations and proposals for medium to high complex projects and providing subject matter insight to bids and proposals in relevant areas;
* Creating innovative commercial insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contributing to thought leadership;
* Responsible for benefits and quality management; stakeholder management; portfolio management; programme, project oversight; and risk and issue management;
* Integral to delivering these responsibilities will be financial management; maintaining risks, issues, assumptions, actions logs; resource forecasting; dependency management; and programme reporting;
* Providing and enabling project prioritisation, management information, financial reporting, resource planning, decision making, and recruitment;
* Ensuring Project Sponsors, managers, team etc adhere to the Company's best practices for Project Management and Portfolio Governance in their delivery of diverse multi-disciplinary projects;
* Responsible for the ongoing support of Project Leads in their delivery of projects in line with schedule, scope, cost and resource requirements and constraints;
* Contributes to the ongoing development of the PMO process, tools and templates and Portfolio Governance process;
* Accountable for the IT Portfolio processes including IT planning, portfolio governance, project methodology framework, and resource capacity management;
* Ensure project management standards are being executed across the project portfolio;
* Drive improvements into the PMO program and ensure industry best practices are leveraged;
* Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline work plan;
* Ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives;
* Maintaining relationships with clients and EY colleagues to assist in generating new business opportunities for EY;
* Liaising with other departments to ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
To qualify for this role, you must have approximately 10+ years' experience in a management consulting or similar advisory role in industry or the public sector, and approximately 15+ years of Project Management / PMO experience. You should also have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record in managing complex stakeholder programmes, and a good understanding of project governance and change management principles.
