They will support the team in fostering closer relationships with the Group's Security Operations Centre and in deriving and disseminating intelligence to our cyber threat intelligence community members.
In this Role, you will: Participate actively in cyber threat communities that the Bank of Ireland Group is a member of, including timely threat intelligence sharing and involvement in relevant working groups and secondments. Triages and analyzes threat information from cyber threat intelligence partners to identify relevant threats and communicates these to appropriate partners promptly and effectively, supporting the Security Incident Response team during incidents. Establish and cultivate effective relationships within Group Information Security and Resilience (GISR), the wider Group, and the cyber threat communities. Maintain the Group's strategic and operational threat intelligence products, including the Cyber Threat Profile and profiles of relevant threat actors, to enable proactive defense. What will make you stand out? Demonstrable experience as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst or Lead in enterprise environments, with knowledge of tactical and operational intelligence, especially in regulated settings, will distinguish you.
Ability to understand and navigate complex enterprise organizations with high autonomy.
Practical experience with threat intelligence methods such as Analysis of Competing Hypotheses and the Diamond Model.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Technical skills in a fast-paced environment, providing analysis, support, and troubleshooting for security controls managed by the Security Engineering team.
Responsibility for deploying and maintaining new technical functionalities supporting GISR and other services.
Essential Qualifications Honours Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. CISSP certification. CREST Practitioner Threat Intelligence Analyst (CPTIA) certification. Equivalent qualifications are acceptable. This is a hybrid role based primarily in Baggot Plaza, Dublin 4, Ireland, with travel as required.
