The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry in the search for an experienced Purchasing Manager based in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and international Contract Catering Company that values innovation, efficiency, and excellence in service delivery.

As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for leading all procurement activities across multiple sites, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services. You will play a key role in building supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Develop, manage, and execute purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s operational goals.
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing and service levels.
* Analyse market trends and supplier performance to ensure best value procurement.
* Maintain and update procurement systems, ensuring accurate data and reporting.
* Collaborate closely with operations, finance, and culinary teams to forecast needs and manage inventory.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and sustainability standards.
* Utilise Procure Wizard to manage procurement workflows and streamline supply chain processes.
* Oversee purchase order processing, stock control, and invoice reconciliation.
* Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost control without compromising on quality.
* Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on purchasing KPIs and savings.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar purchasing/procurement role, ideally within hospitality or catering.
* Strong working knowledge of Procure Wizard is essential.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
* A proactive and solution-oriented attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally.
* Must reside in Ireland and have full legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
* Visa or relocation support is not provided.

Salary & Benefits:

* Salary: €60,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
