Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
to a leading Nursing home in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits and monitor outcomes to ensure continuous quality improvement in clinical services.
Coordinate staff induction, training, and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of care.
Promote and support innovative and best practice approaches within the clinical team.
Ensure **full compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) standards and guidelines.
Facilitate regular communication meetings with clinical staff to support teamwork, feedback, and service improvement.
Build strong relationships with external community agencies to enhance resident engagement and community participation.
Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen the home's visibility and reputation within the local community.
Implement and maintain health and safety policies, including regular fire training and evacuation procedures to protect residents and staff.
Oversee hygiene, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance programmes to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Support staff recruitment, training needs analysis, and leadership cover for the Director of Nursing, ensuring clinical practice meets all regulatory standards.
Requirements
Be a qualified Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in the care of older persons.
Have a minimum of 3 years' management experience within the last 6 years in elderly care or a similar healthcare setting.
Hold a post-registration management qualification in healthcare or a related discipline.
Demonstrate a proven track record in clinical and healthcare management.
Possess strong leadership and team management skills.
Exhibit excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Show strong decision-making skills with a results-driven approach to service delivery.
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment.
Be capable of adapting to changing service needs and organisational priorities.
Display flexibility and commitment to supporting the goals and operational needs of the organisation.
