Key Responsibilities
To achieve success in this role, you will need to:
1. Establish and lead the project office function, aligning it with company goals and implementing scalable project delivery frameworks.
2. Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, ensuring robust planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
3. Develop and manage long-term programmes, budgets, monitoring expenditures, and maintaining integrated resource plans.
4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and governance.
5. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
6. Define and manage key performance indicators for project delivery and provide regular reports to senior executives and governance bodies.
7. Possess a degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, and professional certification is desirable.
8. Hold a minimum of 10+ years' experience in project and programme management within the energy or infrastructure sectors, with proven leadership and experience.
9. Demonstrate strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
10. Emphasize a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability in all project activities.
