Job Title: Production Planning Coordinator
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Planning Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will support the Production Manager in the daily operations of the department, focusing on leading planning, KPI management, efficiency projects, and SAP administration to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the supply chain to plan the manufacturing schedule.
* Handle SAP administration and optimization tasks as the local key user.
* Monitor production stock levels using SAP.
* Manage system changes for manufacturing products, including BOM generation, batch record updates, and product modifications.
* Identify and implement projects to improve production and business process efficiencies, focusing on yield increase, throughput time reduction, process flow improvement, cost reduction, waste elimination, and safety enhancement.
* Oversee production deviation systems, analyze trends, and implement corrective/preventative actions.
* Lead the Lean Six Sigma initiative within the Production Department.
* Ensure compliance with all quality requirements in every aspect of work.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
* A relevant 3rd Level Qualification.
* 3-4 years of experience in a frontline role (e.g., supervisor, coordinator, specialist) within a production manufacturing environment, particularly in Oral Solid Dosage.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and deliver effective presentations.
* Experience in identifying and implementing projects to enhance production and business process efficiencies.
* Proven track record in a continuous improvement environment using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
* Expert working knowledge of SAP.
