Role Overview
As Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our global e-commerce ecosystem, built primarily on Magento (Adobe Commerce) and supported by integrations across ERP, PIM, CRM, payment partners, and cloud services.
You will establish and drive QA best practices, own test strategy creation, enhance automation coverage, manage releases, and work closely with developers, product managers, marketing, and operations to ensure every update delivers a seamless and reliable customer experience.
This is a hands‑on, senior role where your technical expertise will directly support our digital growth, scalability, and customer satisfaction across all global storefronts.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering Leadership
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy covering functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing for Magento and all related systems.
* Establish QA processes, tools, and documentation to ensure consistency and best-in-class quality across releases.
* Lead test planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and release sign-off.
* Design and execute detailed test scenarios for Magento front‑end and admin features, multi‑store configurations, product/catalog updates, checkout, promotions, payment providers, and integrations.
* Validate campaigns, promo rules, customer groups, and regional configurations for accuracy and reliability.
* Ensure the quality and stability of key e‑commerce flows: basket, checkout, account management, order management, returns, and customer communications.
Automation & Tooling
* Build and maintain automated test suites (API, UI, functional) using industry‑standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, MFTF).
* Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery on Adobe Commerce Cloud.
* Monitor and improve automated test reliability, speed, and coverage.
* Test across multiple Adobe Commerce Cloud environments, ensuring successful deployments, configuration changes, and patch applications.
* Perform performance testing, load testing, and monitoring using tools like New Relic, Blackfire, or other analytics platforms.
* Validate Fastly caching rules, CDN configurations, and cloud‑based optimization.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Partner with developers, UX, product, and marketing teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and test coverage.
* Support major campaigns, seasonal releases, and product launches with pre‑launch testing and post‑launch monitoring.
* Provide clear documentation, reports, and technical insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise
* 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years specializing in e‑commerce platforms.
* Hands‑on QA experience with Magento / Adobe Commerce (required).
* Strong understanding of Magento front‑end and admin workflows.
* Strong understanding of catalog management, promotions, checkout, and order flows.
* Expertise with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, REST/GraphQL).
* Strong automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or MFTF.
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑based deployment workflows.
Adobe Commerce Cloud Experience (Advantageous)
* Understanding of cloud environments, variables, build/deploy workflows, and logs.
* Experience validating CDN caching (Fastly), Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch configurations.
* Ability to assess performance metrics and identify bottlenecks.
Additional Skills
* Experience testing integrations (ERP, PIM, CRM, payment gateways, shipping/fulfilment APIs).
* Strong defect management skills and experience with Jira or equivalent tools.
* Experience with accessibility testing and web‑performance standards.
