Job Title: Survey and Engineering Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to conduct setting out work on site, ensuring all works meet high Health and Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct setting out work using various total station and GPS equipment.
• Collaborate with Site Manager/Project Manager to ensure timely completion of works, within budget and to a high standard.
• Use AutoCAD for uploading as-builts and measuring monthly valuations.
• Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and in-house quantity surveyors to review monthly valuations.
• Manage day-to-day site technical and engineering requirements (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Design Team Workshops, etc.).
• Implement quality control measures on the site, aligning with the overall project plan.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Hold relevant construction/engineering qualification.
• 4+ years previous experience in setting out on large-scale residential developments projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of BCAR and Irish Water document submissions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
