In Tax and Legal, you will help clients move forward with confidence because number one never stops challenging.Why you'll enjoy this new opportunity The Reward Services team within Global Employer Services (GES) is actively recruiting for a Director to lead our fast growing Reward practice in Ireland. Deloitte has a longstanding reputation of expertise in Reward, supporting companies through advisory services covering employee workforce strategy, executive remuneration and reward regulatory advice. You will find a diverse mix of people delivering best-in-class advice, with structured programmes supporting continuous expertise development. Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of pay transparency and equity, including pay gap analyses and pay equity diagnostics. A clear understanding of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and its implications for reward strategy is essential. Deep technical expertise across reward strategy design, incentive plan design (short-term, long-term and sales incentives), equity and share scheme structuring, job architecture/evaluation and performance management frameworks. Experience leveraging reward data, analytics and technology to inform reward design, with understanding of reward technology platforms and modelling applications. Leadership & Commercial Acumen Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with people at all levels. Proven ability to manage teams directly and develop team members to advance technical knowledge and career progression. A professional and pro-active approach, to deliver client service that meets Deloitte's exceptional standards. Professional Capabilities Educated at degree level with significant experience in HR / Rewards / finance or professional services / consultancy. Cross-industry experience is desirable, with particular strength in financial services. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload flexibly, ensuring deadlines are met. Clear communication skills and ability to produce high-quality, client-facing, technically accurate work. What type of work will I be doing? As Director you will lead the Ireland Reward Services team, delivering exceptional advisory services across the full spectrum of total reward to a diverse portfolio of Irish and global clients on complex reward challenges. Client Advisory & Strategic Leadership Advising on legislative and topical matters relating to Reward and the broader workforce, including ESG, Gender Pay Gap Reporting and pay transparency legislation, ensuring client compliance. Providing strategic advisory on Total Rewards strategy and programmes, ensuring competitive offerings in talent attraction, retention and development. This includes advice on pay design, pay structures and incentive plans. Evaluating the Total Rewards landscape and advising on best practices through benchmarking, industry research and employment trends. Developing thought leadership and market-leading solutions positioning Deloitte as the trusted reward advisor. Team Leadership & Development Leading and developing the Ireland Reward Services team, fostering a high-performance culture and exceptional client service. Mentoring team members to advance technical knowledge and career progression. Practice Growth & Business Development Driving practice growth through identifying and converting reward advisory opportunities. Winning and maintaining strategic client relationships that strengthen Deloitte's market position. Developing client proposals, marketing materials and thought leadership content. Collaborating with the global Reward network to share best practices and insights. Who is the Hiring Manager?
