Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Workshop Manager, located in Letterkenny. The Workshop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring the team meets deadlines efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities include managing schedules, coordinating with staff, maintaining equipment and tools, and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational regulations.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, team management, and organisational skills
Experience in inventory management, operational planning, and logistics coordination
Strong IT literacy
Technical knowledge and experience with workshop tools, equipment, and maintenance processes
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Relevant certifications or technical qualifications in mechanical, engineering, or related fields are a plus
Experience in managing safety compliance and adhering to workplace regulations
