We are looking for a Manufacturing Workshop Foreman to join our team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the workshop team to meet production targets and quality requirements
Plan and allocate daily tasks, ensuring workflow is efficient and deadlines are achieved
Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times
Support and guide staff with technical challenges, including troubleshooting machinery and assembly issues
Liaise with engineering, design, and management teams to resolve production challenges
Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime
Monitor workshop KPIs and maintain accurate records of performance and output
Requirements
Experience in a supervisory/foreman role within a manufacturing or engineering environment (agricultural machinery or heavy industry an advantage)
Strong technical skills in metal fabrication, fitting, or mechanical assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical/manufacturing drawings
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Thorough understanding of workshop safety standards and manufacturing processes
Flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to perform under pressure
