This role is a weekend driver role, covering a weekend shift, supporting the operation of the business by ensuring that pickups and deliveries meet the required schedules, and any necessary paperwork is completed and updated.Driving:Deliver and collect product according to instructions from Customer.Complete and return all POD's and back up paperwork to Customer Service.Ensure customer material requests are delivered on time.Alert management on all potential delays/shortages/issues etc.Ensure that all freight is secure during transit.Ensure tachograph/driver card is fully operational and used in accordance with legislation.Carry out daily checks on vehicle.Engage with Customer Service to ensure accurate recording of information and activity.Take breaks as per the professional driver's rest period guidelines.Adhere to the rules of the road at all times.Connect and disconnect trailers from cab when needed.Education/LicencesClean, B/C/CE Licence.Driver Card with up-to-date CPCs.Machinery Certification – Forklift, Reach Truck, Power Pallet, Combi etc. is an advantage.Where educational/licence requirements are not fulfilled prior extensive experience of successful performance in the role will be required.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingLicence/Certification:C Driving Licence (required)CPC (required)Work Location: In person
