Citi's Issuer Services Department is part of the wider ISG Group. Our department provides depository services, issuing & paying agency services, and specialized agency functions to support our issuer services clients and product partners.
The team/position overview highlights the diverse range of units within the department, which include account bank, project finance, structured finance, and escrow agent functions. We work with major international and national-level corporations, financial institutions, banks, and public sector debt issuers, as well as investment banks, asset managers, and stand-alone collateral managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in completing daily processes and deliverables across the depositary team.
* Review and input static data.
* Review deal documentation and compare it to system information to check accuracy and highlight discrepancies.
* Liaise with other teams and departments to resolve issues, share knowledge, and drive process improvements.
* Participate in department projects and support the department manager in achieving overall department goals.
* Foster close relationships with key stakeholders, including issuers, product, and depositaries, and have responsibility for managing internal and external client relationships to ensure department responsibilities and objectives are met.
* Provide effective communication and maintain a close working relationship with operational risk and control team and front office.
* Assist the team leader in ensuring standard level agreements between all areas are in place and adhered to.
Requirements:
* Experience in the financial sector, especially in payments or documentation review, would be beneficial.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Proven ability to execute.
* Knowledge of Euroclear and Clearstream would be advantageous.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Good understanding of general MS software packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
* Proven ability to execute solutions using own initiative, such as process re-engineering.
* Ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
